So, today I was looking around some stores for a nice, dark, Lolita dress when Ghani sends me a folder. What did I find? A nice dark Lolita dress! I don't know how she does it but I wear she lives in my head. When I want a certain kind of outfit, she releases one! I love it! Ariadne

A touch of myth.........




Ariadne was daughter of King Minos of Crete and his queen and eventyually became the wife of the god Dionysus.
Since ancient Greek legends were passed down through oral tradition, many variations of this and other myths exist. According to one version of the legend, Minos attacked Athens after his son was killed there. The Athenians asked for terms, and were required to sacrifice seven young men and seven maidens every nine years to the Minotaur. One year, the sacrificial party included Theseus, a young man who volunteered to come and kill the Minotaur. Ariadne fell in love at first sight, and helped him by giving him a sword and a ball of red fleece thread that she was spinning, so that he could find his way out of the Minotaur's labyrinth.

I just wanted to add this so that you could see why the dress has a Greek touch, and a string that attachs to the hand.

Ariadne is the name of the new Blue Blood outfit. Based on a Greek myth, Ariadne is an elegant female outfit, sexy, mediterranean, with a touch of goth. It's not the usual style I work with, so it was definitely fun to create and a real challenge :) I hope you like it :)

Sexy!

So, due to some RL things this post is a bit late, I'm sorry! The upside is I have two stunning outfits to show you!!!!




First up we have the outfit called Lagrima, which means 'Tear' in Spanish. But the only thing that could bring tears to anyone's eyes on this outfit would be the absolutely beautiful detail put into it! The embellishments on the skirt, the shape of the plunging neckline, and the tiny little gem, which matches the gems on the skirt, that hold the collar together. However, the skirt is what stands out the most to me. I've been looking at it for a while now and it's just amazing to see such beautiful hand made detailing! Something you truly have to see for yourself. Love this! I've been wearing it all day, it's so dark and seductive how could anyone resist it?


Up next we have Lorena! This outfit is drop_ dead_ sexy! I've actually been looking around for some interesting garter strap type outfits until Ghani released this outfit then my search was over. It's so unusual and can be worn many different ways, I love the diversity! The outfit is perfectly designed , the stocking ribbons and garter straps bring the lingerie outfit together and the sleeve attachments and the chest piece really complete it when the skirt is worn. So it's actually two outfits in one! You've got a beautiful dress for your daytime wear and a sexy lingerie outfit for the night time! Take Refuge.

Dark, sexy and refined. That's what I think of when I see this outfit on a man. It's unusual to me but very well done. The thing that strikes me about this outfit is the jacket tails, I really like how they are delicate, yet masculine at the same time. I don't normally see that in a lot of suits for men in second life. Another thing I like is the corset type top, it's not an actual corset but it still has that structured look to it, very very nice.
